This area is very nice for those looking for a very urban / city feel. Being close to UC, it has very young and bright energy. It's also quite walkable and it's a fun area. Its fun- housing is being built everywhere too so it's really growing. It's safe, and has a lot of good energy and plenty to do.

The demographics and appearance of Corryville have shifted greatly in the almost 150 years since the neighborhood was annexed by Cincinnati. Corryville was once an older, traditional neighborhood, but it has shifted in recent years to a population of younger residents. This shift in demographics has been accompanied by a shift in appearance as well.

While there are no major museums in the neighborhood, residents enjoy Essex Studios, a small art gallery that hosts an annual art walk.

A Movable Feast, an annual fundraiser for the University of Cincinnatti's College Conservatory of Music, features several different performances (ballet, jazz bands, string quartets, a symphony, etc.) in one building, allowing participants to view a large variety of arts.

Restaurants

-

An interesting mixture of restaurants can be found along Vine Street, with several others scattered around Corryville. Feast on an impressive 2-foot-long sub while you watch the game on one of many televisions at Martino's on Vine. This Italian-American restaurant provides large portions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Zoup, located at Stetson Square, is well known for its soups, sandwiches and salads. Create your own unique combination of soup or enjoy one that's already been created. Sample the soup before you buy it with Zoup's free samples, guaranteeing that you love what you get.

The word mellow perfectly describes nightlife in Corryville. Drink a beer while you watch the game, or enjoy live music at The Brass Tap, which was voted one of the best Steeler bars outside of Pittsburgh. Other bars in Corryville have a similarly casual atmosphere.

Residents of Corryville enjoy the nightlife in nearby cities such as University Heights, where you can dance the night away to popular music with a college crowd at the Mad Frog. Come on a Monday night to learn salsa moves, and then put your skills to the test, or stop by on any other night to enjoy live music and fantastic drink prices. Locals also enjoy Bogart's, a music venue located on Vine Street that is popular with area residents looking for a night out.

For a more diverse selection of nightclubs, locals hit up downtown Cincinnati. Enjoy the large beer selection at Main Event before dancing the night away to house music, or just hang out at the bar before or after attending a local event at Fountain Square.
