Located just over a mile southwest of downtown Del Mar, the beachside neighborhood of Del Mar Heights combines beauty and convenience, putting residents close to both the coast and Interstate 5. When you want to get outdoors, you can head over to Solana Beach or Torrey Pines State Beach, or go for a hike at one of this neighborhood's parks: Crest Canyon Park or the Torrey Pines Extension. With public beach access located less than a block outside the neighborhood, Del Mar Heights residents enjoy everything Southern California beaches provide -- sunbathing, swimming, surfing, fishing, and beachcombing.

Del Mar Heights Road features several shops and places to eat, including the Asian Fusion restaurant Boto Sushi and Bushfire Kitchen, a great place to grab a burger. Complete everyday errands at the Del Mar Heights Village shopping center. This luxurious area features well-maintained houses for rent, with most on the south side of the neighborhood. Venture north during the summer to the Del Mar Racetrack for Del Mar's most popular event, its horse racing season.
