Twenty miles northeast of Downtown Los Angeles, Duarte is a vibrant suburban community sitting right on the line where the cityscape gives way to the mountains. The city hosts a thriving business sector, with shopping centers, restaurants, and car dealerships filling much of the area along Interstate 210 and Route 66 at the center of town. Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area to the south is a great place to spend some quality time outdoors, and the easy access to the San Gabriel Mountains to the north allow for weekend adventures in California’s rugged wilderness anytime.
