The neighborhood is very cute with lots of places to walk, eat and shop. I had my car broken into within a month of moving here, but no issues with safety since then.

East Falls was listed as our top neighborhood when we were looking into buying our first house and now that we live here, we couldn't be happier. As a young (ish) married couple, we truly feel like we are part of a close knitted, diverse community - and a community in which we would feel very happy raising a family when the right time comes. Simply put, we find East Falls to be community oriented, family friendly, clean, safe, and vibrant.

I moved to East Falls about 12 years ago from upstate New York. I love that it is close to Center City without being in the City. I love being near to the Skykull River and all the activities that happen in the Spring and Summer in this area. The area has a lot or old and new together which makes a nice blend. What I would like to see change is the number of poppy stores that do not sell nutritional foods for the people in the neighborhood. I would like to see more vegetable and fruit stands around to give people more choices.

Every business in this area has its own uniqueness from one another and no two are the same. I find just about everything I need there.
