Nicknamed the “Pottery Capital of the World,” East Liverpool is best known for its rich history in the American pottery industry. East Liverpool is home to major potteries to this day, including the Hall China Company, Pioneer Pottery, and the Homer Laughlin China Company. East Liverpool also contains the Museum of Ceramics in addition to the expansive Pottery City Antique Mall, which spans 40,000 square feet.
