I don't think East Pasadena is the safest place, if I'm being honest. Many objects have been stolen from myself and my family, and I have been approached by aggressive strangers in the past.

My overall experience has been a very positive one. Every neighbor I've encountered has always been very warm and welcoming. The area is very clean and quiet/calm. This is a great neighborhood to raise children in.

A homeless man slept on my front porch. People would steal things from people's front yards. Police didn't help very much. Packages were stolen at Christmas time.
