The area is quiet and very community-oriented, unlike other Seattle neighborhoods. The property crime rate is very low and public transit efficiently runs through the town.

Sleepy area, mom and pop stores, easy proximity to other stores via freeway.

There are some vacant buildings and homes around town but they are occupied by people developing new community projects. The houses don't have too big of yards and there is little space between homes. Most of the people here have to park on the street because of the lack of driveways. Some of the homes have a driveway but because of the era the house was built the driveways are a bit small and not useful to vehicles made today.
