Far South Chicago is an urban neighborhood situated about 15 miles south of Downtown Chicago. The neighborhood is centered by Lake Calumet, which draws in residents and visitors alike as the marshy landscape is surrounded by park lands, golf courses, and trails. Surrounding this outdoor area is commercial and residential spaces.
