Located about 20 miles southwest of Downtown Houston, Fort Bend Houston offers a tight-knit community and a break from the fast pace of city life. The majority of the neighborhood consists of single-story suburban homes, but there’s been an explosion in apartment offerings in this Houston bedroom community. During the summer, Blueridge Park, a splash park with water sprays, serves as a popular way to beat the heat. The conveniences of the city are just minutes away, making this a great locale for commuters.

There is a diverse community that serves to promote education before all else. Fort Bend, concerning the surrounding school districts, is easily one of the best. I would like to see more conservation of farmland in the area as a large portion is being bought out for commercial housing and apartment construction.

Where I live is a nice area, everyone knows each other and make sure everyone is okay. We also check up on each other to make sure people are okay, especially if we know they have a illness. Whenever someone gets food from the church people gives leftovers to their neighbors.
