Franconia is a small suburb of several cities. The area is convenient to Arlington, Alexandria, and Washington, D.C., making it a great option for commuters. Kingstowne Boulevard and nearby Springfield Town Center nearby offer plenty of shopping and dining options from popular chain restaurants to big box department stores to local shops and eateries. Franconia is adjacent to beautiful green spaces and residents take full advantage. Lee District Park has extremely popular sports facilities, an amphitheater, and a free waterpark sprawled across over 150 acres of land. This park is home to Chessie’s Trail, a kid-friendly trail with adorable statues of woodland creatures along the way. For more fun, residents usually go to one of the nearby cities since Arlington, Alexandria, and the capitol city are all under 30 minutes away.
