The waterfront town of Fulton exudes coastal character

Waterfront Scenic Outdoor Activities Affordable

Just north of Rockport on the western shore of Aransas Bay, Fulton delights with an intimate, small-town feel and the coastal charm of a bayfront community. This is a compact locale with only two and a half square miles of total area to its name. Home in Fulton resemble something you might find in Florida, with beach bungalows on stilts and dense mangroves all around.

There are bright seafood restaurants, barbecue joins, and bakeries in the southeastern corner of the town. Locals love to fish, for both pleasure and business, and the harbor is full of shrimp boats and personal vessels. Fulton Harbor Park makes it easy to enjoy the view of the bay, but if you want to hit the beach you’ll have to journey down to Rockport or Corpus Christi. For a waterfront area, apartments in Fulton have remained relatively affordable. The amenities of Corpus Christi are just 45 minutes away.
