I moved here fore college in 2010 and loved the area so much I never left. I stayed for medical school and now for my residency in neurosurgery. The neighborhood is nice, quiet ad walking distance (<2 miles) from most things in the city.

I nice clean area. However, the neighborhood is comprised of college students and older individuals who do not like to interact. The buildings are beautiful but many sit empty as they are often second or third homes.

Most people in this area work for the government or for NGOs. There's such a wealth of opportunities in this field in DC that most students can find employment after graduation fairly easily.
