This island is connected to Downtown Tampa by the Harbour Island Bridge and Beneficial Drive, so you can be in the heart of the city within minutes for work or leisure. You can head downtown to cheer on the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL team at Amalie Arena, tour the Tampa Bay History Center, attend classes at the University of Tampa, or enjoy an event at the Tampa Convention Center.

Harbour Island is a triangular-shaped neighborhood in the Hillsborough Bay, with Seddon Channel on the west side and Sparkman Channel on the east. The south side is completely residential, while the north end contains mixed-use developments. Harbour Island is quite walkable, with a pedestrian-friendly layout and access to the TECO road trolley and the unique water taxi service. After renting an apartment or condo on Harbour Island, be sure to visit some of the island's hotspots, including the historic Harbour Island Lighthouse.

An Island right next to the downtown area..what's not to like? This place is great. If location is more important to you then the size of your home then this is the place for you. Thinking long term this area is booming in value .
