Hazle Township is a rural town that surrounds Hazleton in Luzerne County in eastern Pennsylvania. Hazle Township is located about 45 miles southwest of Scranton and only 25 miles south of Wilkes-Barre. Because this major city is nearby, residents can easily commute to and from this metro area for work or leisure. The easiest route to get residents to both Wilkes-Barre and Scranton is Interstate 81.
