A lakefront community along the historic Mother Road

Suburb Desert Lake Great Location Historic

Located along historic Route 66, Helendale is a secluded suburb resting in the Victor Valley of the Mojave Desert. Surrounded by ranches, stables, and farmland, Helendale is perfect renters who value privacy and a strong sense of community. This desert community offers pueblo-inspired condos and Spanish and Mediterranean style houses for rent for mid-range to upscale budgets. Also known as Silver Lakes, the majority of the community is anchored by the town’s two lakes, North and South Lake. Many homes have views of the lakes. With two large lakes in an enviable year-round climate, watersports are extremely popular in Helendale. Fishing, swimming, and lounging at the lake beaches are just a few of activities residents enjoy in town. You can also get a taste of what it’s like living along the iconic Mother Road and travel a few miles south to visit Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch, a quirky pit stop showcasing tree-shaped sculpture made from glass bottles and vintage items. Helendale offers a low-key SoCal living experience, but if you ever need to head out of town for work or play, Victorville, Riverside, and San Bernardino are all about an hour’s drive away.
