Located on the Gulf of Mexico in southwestern Hernando County, Hernando Beach is a laidback boating community about an hour’s drive north of Tampa. Primarily a residential area, Hernando Beach contains a slew of local businesses tucked between clusters of mangroves and palm trees.

Hernando Beach is just minutes from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, which is famous for its underwater mermaid shows in addition to various recreational activities available on its natural spring. Hernando Beach is also convenient to SunWest Park, a waterfront facility on the shores of a 70-acre spring-fed lake.
