A quiet neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia. Plenty of places to go out for dinner or drinks (Dagwoods, the Ashburner). Easy access to 95. Close proximity to Pennypack Park and the Delaware Waterfront. I've lived year for several years and have never felt unsafe. I would definitely move here again.

Police are present and respond quickly, but there is a lot of crime. I am concerned about drug use in my area. The people I see blatantly committing crimes do not listen to the cops. Once the police leave they go back and do the same thing they were doing before. I do not feel safe enough to walk down the block to a friend's house.

If their was a choice to live here again I would if their were some changes. Growing up their was a great sense of security, but as I got older the people moving in were a little troublesome. I could definitely see this area being great, especially for families with young children, as along as adults have a general concern for the children's safety and future.
