Overall it is a safe neighborhood to live it. There is CTA available and is convenient to walk to whether taking the bus or train. There is a variety of restaurants to try as well.

Jefferson Park is friendly and a comfortable environment. It's not city life but it still is populated and fun. There are nice stores and people around. One bad thing is the trash around and the governor is working on fixing any old roads and sidewalks.

Been living here for over 10 years. Over these last few years Jefferson park has made a full 360. The city has been working hard with making new commercial buildings, fixing the roads, adding more life (trees, flowers, etc). And with the years it has bought more families into the area. Bigger communicates, on going festivals for a family day.

I like that it is a transit stop for the blue line, however the amount of crimes around the neighborhood are frightening. It is very diverse and has a great elementary school.
