In our area there is not many police around until after the people have gotten away. there are many gun shots every night and we don't see police patrolling in the area hardly ever. The lighting in the road doesn't exist so it is very likely that you could get hurt or possibly abducted because no one would be able to see you. The trees hang over the side walk which creates easy access for people to hang out and kid nap some one. There are a lot of duplex units in the area that are known for selling drugs and it seems that eyes are just turned away instead of dealing with the problem. I live in this area only because its the only place I can find to afford rent while having to go to school and work fulltime on my own.

Besides near the University of Arizona campus, the area is unkempt. Coming from the suburbs, everything in the area is more "drab". The roads are sub par, extra curricular activities are limited, and there are not very many street lights in neighborhoods.
