Lafayette, also called Lafayette Township, is a sprawling locale with a charming town center and rural surroundings. Located in northern New Jersey only a few miles from both the Pennsylvania and New York border, this peaceful township if perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet without being too far from the amenities and conveniences of more populous areas. Lafayette holds a number of long-standing homes for rent, but there are also upscale apartment complexes in surrounding communities such as Newton. In the town center along State Route 94 and Meadows Road you’ll find a few markets and locally owned businesses, as well as pizza places and American-style restaurants. The farmland and overall rural appearance of Lafayette means nature is always close at hand, but the big cities of eastern New Jersey are only a short drive away.
