The town has been a great place to grow up in, but often leaves children overly sheltered and not always aware of people or communities who live differently.

I've lived in Larchmont my entire life and have enjoyed a peaceful time in this town. There are plenty of quaint shops and dining places, as well as parks to spend time with nature in. This town could use more diversity. The public school district is pretty good.

Larchmont is a small town 30 minutes away from Manhattan. This town is safe and has great public schools. I lived here for about 20 years, raised my kids and enjoyed my neighbors living in harmony and peace together. Larchmont has a great library, playgrounds, friendly people, shops and access to the center of the world, Manhattan, easily. It is clean and beautiful. We love Larchmont.

Great town, great people. I love the traditions that bring the community together, like the Rag a Muffin parade or hot dogs on July 4th. One of Larchmont's few drawbacks is the cost-- real estate is expensive-- but it is very walkable and close to NYC.
