Linglestown is a small rural town 15 miles east of riverfront Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania. The area is mainly residential with small service businesses scattered throughout town. Located at the base of Blue Mountain, Linglestown is lush and wooded, filled with parks and trails making outdoor recreation like hiking and biking extremely popular. Koons Park has excellent sports facilities including a swimming pool and baseball and soccer fields. Encompassing the essence of a small town, Linglestown is a great option for commuters. Not only do residents travel into the city for work, but they also visit neighboring towns to enjoy other amenities as well. Nearby Paxton Towne Center and Colonial Park Mall provide residents with a plethora of department, craft, and grocery stores. Being nestled right next to Interstate 81 makes travel quick and easy as well, even though you won’t get enough of enjoying the splendors found in Linglestown.
