A harbor town located on Lake Michigan, Ludington is a picturesque paradise filled with abundant waterfront attractions at every corner. Ludington has four beaches for hours of relaxation and excitement. Visit local favorite Stearns Park where you can enjoy classic beach activities and more. The beach has mini golf, shuffleboard, a playground, concessions, a skate park, and free parking. Board the S.S. Badger, the largest car ferry to sail the Great Lakes, during mid-May to October. While sailing you can watch a movie, play bingo, and admire inspiring sunsets. Ludington’s community thrives on recreation and hosts events every month of the year including farmers markets, art fairs, horse shows, basketball tournaments, and marathons. The New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in downtown is one of the biggest events of the year. Not only does the town host a ball drop, but there are also activities in nearby businesses. After a fun-filled day, indulge in one of Ludington’s quirky family-owned restaurants, bars, and shops.
