Located about 27 miles northeast of Birmingham, Margaret is a tranquil community engulfed in natural beauty. Margaret offers residents a quiet small-town feel, with vast stretches of green space and rolling fields separating many of the rental homes in town.

Although Margaret is mostly residential, there are a few locally owned restaurants and shops strewn along Main Street, in addition to several local churches scattered throughout the community. Many residents enjoy straightforward commutes into nearby Birmingham with access to U.S. Routes 11 and 411 as well as Interstates 20 and 59.
