Located about ten miles southeast of Lansing, Mason is the county seat of Ingham County. Mason blends suburban and rural lifestyles, boasting close proximity to Michigan’s capital city as well as a wide variety of farms. Home to several scenic city parks, Mason contains amenities such as a walking trail, skate park, and roller hockey rink. Burchfield Park and Valhalla Park are just minutes from Mason too.

Downtown Mason’s colorful, historic buildings contain a bevy of restaurants, boutiques, and specialty shops along tree-lined Jefferson Street. Mason has been a Tree City USA every year since 1990.
