metrowest is an area that looks good on the outside, but once you are a resident you can tell there is a lot to improve in the area. Lived there for 5 years, towards the gulf course, there are nice views, and a lot of green areas to walk, but the nearby shopping carts left behind by residents are not looking good. Also, the safety in the area is getting worse.

My overall experience in Metro West was great. It had all I neede. Chase, Bank of America, Walmart, Amscot, USPS, UPS, FEDEX just to name a few. I could handle all my errands in one location. I never (thankfully) experienced any crime except maybe my packages being stolen twice. I was in different apartments and all were very quiet. its also a beautiful area where i could take walks. I chose to live there because it was close to my college at the time. I would love if a Target was close. I would like to see rent being more affordable for 1 bedroom apartments.

It's super close to all theme parks and malls. I'm not a fan of it being so touristy, but in general it's one of the nicer neighborhoods in the Orlando area.

My mom got robbed once, they took her phone away while walking to the park. Police sirens sound sometimes often. In the first complex we were the security wasn't really good but after new buyers bought the property things got better.
