There are plenty of job opportunities with a very diverse range of cultures. Commute times are a little bit long depending on if you have a car or not, but there is plenty of public transportation options. Nightlife isn't the safest but you also won't get robbed as soon as you step out of your house

Middle river is a close knit community, but there are always some sketchy people lingering around, like with a lot of other neighborhoods.

Well I have been living in Middle River for about 8 years, the rest of my life I have been living in New Jersey. In the part of Middle River I lived in where there is a home and then 1 acer of land per house. Pretty different from where I used to live at. In Middle River I never any race problems between people, I notice mostly the whole community is white people, than some blacks and a bit of Hispanic. We are a bit from business, to get around where I live you need a car in order to buy somethings. Overall, Middle River is a pretty calm place, not much happens, but once you go into the city that's a different story .

I recently moved here, and if anyone is familiar with Maple Lawn in Columbia, Middle River is shaping up to be just like that! The designer of my neighborhood took the vision of Maple Lawn and is recreating that vision in Middle River! The only difference is, we have water all around us to enjoy! Just a short 5 minute drive!
