Midlothian is a great place to live with many things to do. In the community I live in, it is only a few minutes away from great restaurants, attractions like bowling and movie theaters, parks and many community pools.

Midlothian, since I was a young kid to a young woman, has been my home. The community has been a great place to grow up, and I have loved living in and around this neighborhood. From people always greeting me, to lots of nature and outdoor activities, and with lots of community events, I would never want to call another place home.

My whole life, I have lived in Midlothian, Virginia. I was born here. I grew up here. I will eventually graduate high school here. I love how, as I have changed and blossomed into the person I am today, I am continually heading back to the same community I grew up in. Although I wish my town could stay the same forever, it has not. As I have grown, my community has decided to continue growing with me. When I was growing up, we had access to so many different stores and restaurants all on this one main road, but traffic has now consumed this road and has continued to grow even more. As people move here and help facilitate the growth of their children, the city has decided to expand neighborhoods and even create new apartment complexes. As much as I love seeing change, this kind of change upsets me in a way. I always thought my "little" town was just for my family and me, but now, with all these new people, I don't know what to think anymore.

I was born around the Richmond area, and have never loved another surrounding town like I love Midlothian. It is the perfect size and has plenty of friendly faces.
