I've lived here my whole life. It's close to the 4 train and it's a short walk to the D train. I don't talk buses often but they are here. You can take the bx 3 to the 1 train. So it's an easy commute. It's usually a quiet neighborhood. I don't go to many local events. But BCC is close by and they have events on the campus. There are also some events on Fordham Road sometimes, those are a traffic nightmare if you rely on a car or bus to get places.

I am originally from Florida so moving to this area was a shock to me it is a busy area. I'd like to see more officers around in the evenings walking around interacting with the people.

This area is exactly how I rated it. It's okay. I've grown up here, so it's not like I know too much different. The area isn't very clean, but it's not filthy either. There are a few illegal activities I see, and I haven't seen any efforts to stop them.
