With a population of roughly 3,000, Mount Morris is a peaceful community roughly seven miles north of Downtown Flint.

Ideal for commuters, Mount Morris offers easy access to I-475. The popular C. S. Mott Lake is only two miles from Mount Morris, providing a fantastic weekend destination for enjoying Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, the Genesee Belle, Bluebell Beach, and Stepping Stone Falls. Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad provides a village consisting of 34 restored buildings from the 1800s, a train ride along the lake, and amusement rides. The Genesee Belle is a replica of a 19th century paddlewheel riverboat that offers 45-minute cruises around the lake. Bluebell Beach offers a swimming beach along the lake, a splash pad, picnic areas, and the Flint River Bike Path.
