Located just 12 miles northeast of Downtown Albuquerque, North Albuquerque Acres is a peaceful reprieve in the desert with sweeping views of the Sandia Mountains and the Cibola National Forest. Residents can enjoy scenic trails, campground, hiking trails, and 1.6 million acres of trees, meadows, and mountains. North Albuquerque Acre sis home to a few neighborhood parks of its own, and although the neighborhood is mainly residential, there are a few businesses and amenities in town. Families are attracted to this area for the great schools, peaceful neighborhoods, and close-knit community. For more dining, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as job opportunities, residents travel closer into Albuquerque.
