I've lived here just about my entire life. When it was time to purchase a home, I could have purchased anywhere, but I chose North Amityville. I feel very safe here, my neighborhood is very quiet. I love the fact that many home have large yards and homes are placed nicely apart. And the vast majority of homes are well kept. I am a product of North Amityville schools from the 2nd grade and I loved my time there. I've done quite well for myself.

a very good place to live, really diverse, SOME of the kids are just ghetto, but the school is amazing. Not really much white people at the school, mainly blacks and mexicans, but good place to live, not near bolden mack park ofcofc

Up and coming neighborhood. Homes however, are starting to get expensive. Great location wise as you're close to everything.

I like Amityville! Gentrification is prevalent right now. I would like to see better public transportation and more parks and recreational centers.
