North Hill is a large neighborhood in Minot, stretching from Highway 63 east to Broadway and from 30th Avenue south to 11th Avenue. It includes Minot State University, located in the southeastern corner, and it borders Minot International Airport to the east. While the neighborhood is mostly residential, there are some businesses, shopping centers, and restaurants scattered throughout the neighborhood, especially along North Broadway and 21st Avenue.
Several parks are located within North Hill. Polaris Park provides a large picnic pavilion and a playground. Baseball fields are located at Sertoma Sports Complex, and the small 11th & 11th Park has horseshoe courts, a playground, and a picnic shelter. In addition, residents can visit the Dakota Territory Air Museum, which is located near the airport. Hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities are popular with North Hill residents. The Souris River is south of the neighborhood, and the Upper Souris National Wildlife Refuge is less than an hour northwest.
