It's a very nice place depending on where you're living. It's not too hard to get around. Although, the place is pretty expensive to be in.

New Hyde Park is a great town to grow up in. You make friends that stick with you all the way until you graduate high school. The area is overall very friendly and a lot of stores are all by a walking distance. It's amazing!

Okay so i wrote too much and i cant post this ubless i sgorten it so let me just tell you this. Its a great place to raise kids, to just live on your own, or whatever. The stores here are great, there is plenty of stuff to do with the kids, and its an easy commute to the city. There is a train station in our town so thats why. People are very nice. The town itself is beautiful. And this is a very safe place to live in. Other than a few reckless teenagers at night, you are very very safe. Bike riding is big here and many locals love to ride through our beautiful scenery of trees. We have many trees here that always make the town look so lovely in the summer and fall. We have a carnival here every year thats amazing. I have lived here my whole live and this is where i am proud to call my home. Just come here once and this place will feel like home to you.
