Although mainly residential, Northdale does offer plenty of shops and restaurants along Mabry Highway and Ehrlich Road, where you'll find the Colonial Promenade and other shopping plazas. It is also a great location for those wanting to be near the University of South Florida, which is only about seven miles southeast.
