With roots dating back to 1743, the University of Delaware is committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, research, and service. UD offered America’s first study abroad program in 1923 and continues the tradition today with more than 100 study abroad programs in over 40 countries, developing students into global citizens. In addition to providing excellent academic programs, UD is home to the Fightin’ Blue Hens athletic teams, which participate in the NCAA Division I Colonial Athletic Association.
