MC Choctaws Private Christian Baptist Service-Oriented Comprehensive Spiritual Welcoming Intimate

Established in 1826, Mississippi College is the oldest institution of higher learning and the largest private university in the state of Mississippi. Affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention, MC values the integration of faith and learning throughout the educational process. MC emphasizes undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs which offer opportunities for service while promoting the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of students.

A broad range of houses and apartments are available for rent within close proximity to MC’s campus in Central Mississippi. Convenience to the I-20 and U.S. 80 makes commuting to campus from farther distances simple.

More than 50 chartered student organizations, service clubs, social tribes, intramural sports, exciting events, development opportunities, and NCAA Division II Choctaw athletics keep the MC campus buzzing. Jackson, the vibrant capital city with historic charm and a modern intellectual spirit, is just a short drive from the MC campus, along with its fascinating museums, unique restaurants, eclectic festivals, and live music. Memphis and New Orleans are both within a three-hour drive from campus as well.
