The ultimate accessible higher education institution

NVC Public Accessible Affordable Flexible Diverse Collaborative Scenic

Northwest Vista College first began offering classes in 1995 as one of the newest additions to the Alamo Colleges District. Today NVC is dedicated to providing quality academic, technical, and lifelong learning experiences to its diverse student population through a variety of formats, such as online, traditional, hybrid, evening, and weekend courses. Most classes at NVC lead to a two-year associate degree or one-year certificate option. NVC maintains an open-door admissions policy, allowing every person the opportunity to receive a college education.

Located in the growing Far West Side of San Antonio, NVC is convenient to all kinds of apartments and townhomes available for rent. While searching for housing options, consider the Westover Hills and Alamo Ranch districts for easy access to the NVC campus. Close proximity to State Highway 151 and Loop 1604 make commuting to campus simple.

If student organizations, theater performances, and intramural sports don’t suit your interests, be sure to explore the nearby SeaWorld San Antonio and Aquatica San Antonio. You can always take a 20-minute drive to Downtown San Antonio to enjoy a range of historic and modern amenities too.
