Surrounded by natural beauty, Olde Town is Issaquah’s downtown district. Issaquah means “the sound of birds,” which certainly fits this wooded locale with panoramic views of the mountains and verdant forests. Olde Town resembles a charming small-town with mom-and-pop restaurants, art galleries, and other locally-owned businesses. Residents enjoy going to one of the many community events held in Olde Town throughout the year like the annual Zombie Walk, the Wine and Art Walk, and Salmon Days, a two-day celebration of salmon returning to local bodies of water.
