Nice community, close to downtown Baltimore and Belair, MD. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Local produce farms close by, steamed crabs available year-round, if you like them. Public transportation could be better.

The history of Perry Hall dates back hundreds of years. The Susquehannocks tribe ruled the area until European settlers came to the area in the 17th century. In 1774, Harry Dorsey Gough purchased a 1,000-acre estate in the area. He then renamed the property “Perry Hall” and constructed the now famous Perry Hall Mansion on the land.

Today, the Perry Hall Mansion serves as a museum, providing visitors with insight into the early days of the community. At the community's B&O Railroad museum, residents can also learn about the later days of this community and the impact the railway had on Perry Hall, including its connection to Baltimore and outlying cities.
