I have lived in pinehurst for 7 years and hope to stay and raise my kids here. We know most of our neighbors and families we've met out in the community are all so friendly. There is excellent Ethiopian food and more and more restaurant and bar options all the time nearby in central lake city.

Having smaller class for Math and Science is so important. These subjects are very challenging and most of student needs extra help with it. Having smaller class can give the student the extra help they need from the teacher and the teacher to work with them as well.

Though people have occupied the area since the 1900s, the true start to the neighborhood came in 1927 when the City of Seattle purchased the land to build the Jackson Park Municipal Golf Course. The area proceeded to serve as grounds for polo and horse-riding academies for the next few decades. In 1953, the Pinehurst Community Club became annexed to the City of Seattle and joined the other north-end communities of the city. Residents looking to immerse themselves in culture will have to take a trip to the city, as most museums and theaters reside closer to downtown. The community council hosts Pinehurst Fest every summer in July with live music and food at Pinehurst Playfield park.
