Step into the wonderland of Québec

Picturesque Historic Walkable Culture Art

If you’ve ever gazed into a snow globe containing a charming village of snow-topped roofs, clock towers, and church steeples and wondered if there was any place on earth as pretty as that, welcome to Québec City. In addition to resembling a winter wonderland during the colder months, this beautiful city is the capital of Québec. It is located along the St. Lawrence River, and it’s filled with historic architecture, charming shopping areas, and a breathtaking landscape that will leave you in wonder year-round.

Just take a walk through Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage treasure, to experience the old-world charm the city is famous for. The well-preserved, 400-year-old buildings sit along cobblestone streets in a magical setting that’s been named one of the top 10 places to spend the holidays. Old Québec contains one of North America’s oldest shopping districts, Petit-Champlain. After browsing the shops, head to Place Royale, the site of the first French settlement in North America in 1608.

Travel back to the 17th century by visiting the island of île d’Orléans. Visit places like Maison Drouin, a well-preserved house built in 1729. In addition to incredible views, the island is home two vineyards and the Chocolaterie de I’île d’Orléans. If you prefer sweets other than chocolate, Confiturerie Tigidou makes jams with berries grown on the island.
