The River Mount neighborhood's name reflects the natural landmarks that rest nearby, such as the Arkansas River and Pinnacle Mountain. Sweet potato waffle fries, thick homemade milkshakes and a generous helping of vegetarian options make this spot an everyday winner.

Locally owned Thirst n’ Howl scratches that itch when you've got a hankering for that fun, casual neighborhood bar. Complete with wide-screen TVs, pool tables, daily food and drink specials and live music on the weekends, this bar gives locals another excellent joint for just chilling out. Try the shrimp poor boy or the Volcano burger for maximum enjoyment.

Mexico Chicquito has done Tex Mex right since 1935. With five locations in the Little Rock area, fans of this local favorite know where to find fresh, made-to-order goodies like chicken tortilla soup and sizzling fish fajitas. House-made margaritas finish things off with a tequila-flavored twist.
