Drive a few miles east for swimming, beachcombing, surfing, fishing, and fun at the beaches along Highway A1A, or spend a day at Savannas Preserve State Park, a great place to hike, view wildlife, bicycle, or canoe.

Police are often out patrolling on US 1. They seem pretty quick to respond to issues on the road (accident, disabled vehicle etc). I never have had an issue with crime in our neighborhood, I sometimes forget to lock my car or front door (bad, I know) but my vehicle has never been broken into. Neighbors are friendly and everyone seems to look out for one another.
