Snyder, a hamlet in Amherst, is situated about 10 miles northeast of Downtown Buffalo. This is a great location for anyone commuting to Buffalo, attending Daemen College, SUNY Erie Community College, or the University at Buffalo, or wanting to be near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. This terrific community features a charming Main Street with plenty of shops and restaurants, large homes, and terrific schools.

Already in a beautiful setting, Snyder residents can also enjoy nearby Amherst State Park, a historic park located on 77 acres. Once a convent, the historic Gothic Revival St. Mary of the Angels Mother House, built in 1928, overlooks the park. The park’s grounds are popular for hiking, bird-watching, fishing, and picnicking.
