Lots of great local food on 38th in the lincoln international district. Downtown has lots of modern food with museums and the Thea Foss waterway.

Quiet, cozy, friendly neighborhood with access to everything imaginable. Lovely parks (Wapato, Alling, Lincoln) and key stores (REI, World Market, Costco) are right here, and downtown Tacoma nightlife is a stone's throw away. Lincoln International District has adorable, historic homes on tree-lined streets, and so many young couples are moving to the area.

Loud af!!! Lot of transients and drug activity, trash everywhere. Police are worthless. Too much crime, not enough cops. Poor people who just don't care about others, and seem to relish destroying private property (or stealing it). Hate this town

I like that is it close to everything you need; schools, grocery stores, malls, gyms and businesses. The neighborhood is fairly safe for children to grow up in and thrive. It is walking distance to most schools or has bus stops everywhere. What I would like to see more is the neighborhood people to get to know each other more and build connections with one another.
