Although Spring Lake Heights has a nice community, it is small and this creates some privacy issues with neighbors being to nosy about your personal life. Also, the real estate is overpriced.

Really the only crimes I hear about are children not wearing their helmets on bikes and the occasional sight of seeing someone get pulled over. Most of the policemen in SLH like here and you can see them driving around in the cop cars or just see them walking around town with their families, and participating in the activities that go on in the community, such as being a coach of their child's little league team or going to the back to school night pasta dinner.
