It is a quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of the Las Vegas Strip. When in Sunrise Manor you forget that you are in Sin City because it feels like just an average American town.

I like sunrise manor. I've grown up in this entire and most people are fairly nice. One thing I would change is the safety. I think there should be more police and they should be better at responding to calls. Apart from that, this is an average town.

I have lived here all my life and in recent years the public schools have worsened. There are more and more Gang graffiti on the walls of nice homes. The neighborhood is slowly plummeting its getting worse. Parents need to watch there children closely for these teens are out of hand. But i cant say its all bad we have one of best ice cream trucks Frankie's Ice Cream they mostly reside by Lewis family park. They make their own waffle cones.

Living in Sunrise Manor

History

-

Sunrise Manor is an unincorporated town that was formed in May of 1957 in North Las Vegas, an incorporated city that was first purchased and developed in the early 1900s. A Utah man named Tom Williams first discovered the area during a trip to Las Vegas. Unimpressed with the busy and energetic atmosphere of the newly incorporated Las Vegas, Williams ventured north and became enamored with the vast open spaces and potential for lucrative agriculture.

Tom purchased 160 acres of land and subdivided the area into 100 lots, selling each lot at $10 in 1919. In 1924, the town's first grocery store and post office were built. North Las Vegas was officially incorporated in 1946 and is home to the Neon Art Museum and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, known for its Egyptian antiquities displays and annual Native American cultural events.

The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the prices won't make you flinch.
