Upper Foster is a residential area less than 10 miles southwest of Downtown Boston. The neighborhood is easily accessible to downtown by public transit or car. Upper Foster almost entirely consists of residential developments, giving renters plenty of options of apartments and condos.
Boston College is located a few blocks west of Upper Foster, making it an ideal spot for students. Other great features located outside of the neighborhood include Chestnut Hill Reservoir and the many parks and trails that surround it. While Upper Foster remains relatively free of commercial developments, residents head outside of the neighborhood to Boylston Street and Washington Street for an array of bars, eateries, and shopping choices. Of course, the renowned shopping and dining options in Downtown Boston are located only a few minutes away as well.
