Located just south of Lake Pontchartrain, Viavant-Venetian Isles is a neighborhood nestled on the western side of the Chef Menteur Pass about 20 miles northwest of New Orleans. The area is mostly industrial and provides easy access to surrounding areas thanks to the Interstate 510 and Highway 90 junction. Renters have options of affordable apartments situated around the northern borders of town near Lake Pontchartrain. Thanks to the lake and its great location, outdoor recreation abounds in Viavant-Venetian Isles. The neighborhood partially encompasses Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge to the east, and the untouched bayou to the south.
